Thank you to all of our supporters for a fantastic 2018. This year, we added three new attorneys to our team, expanded our practice into employment law and civil rights issues for school employees, and obtained some fantastic results for our clients.
We are pleased to announce that Michelle Mentzer has joined our firm as of January 2, 2019. Michelle formerly practiced labor and employment law and worked in civil legal aid before serving as an Administrative Law Judge in the Office of Administrative Hearings for almost 17 years, the last 10 of which focused on education cases for the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. Michelle’s practice at Cedar will include employment litigation, appeals, constitutional law, civil rights, and special education. Her experience will be a tremendous asset to Cedar Law’s clients and we are thrilled to have her join our team of attorneys, which now includes founding Partner Lara Hruska, Partners Chris Williams and Shannon McMinimee, Of Counsel Angela Shapow, and Senior Associate Jinju Park.
With congratulations, we also announce that our friend and colleague Jill Mullins has taken on a new position as Staff Attorney for the Northwest Justice Project in Mount Vernon. We will miss her but look forward to the excellent work we know that she will accomplish.
We look forward to what 2019 will bring!
